Neva Nanny C. Smith

Age 90, passed away on December 28th, 2011 at her home in Lacey, Washington. She was born on April 20th, 1921 in Rosemary, Alberta, Canada to Walter O. and Harriett Agnes (Hoegh) Pedersen and arrived to the United States on Christmas Day of 1923. She is preceded in death by her husband and love of her life, Ray T. Smith, in 2007 and son, Larry Smith. In life she spent many years experiencing the joy of travel with Ray, seeing the country, and living in both California and Washington.

She is survived by a brother, children; grandchildren, great grandchildren; as well as, many loving extended family and friends.

A private memorial to remember Neva will be held on Saturday, January 7th, 2012 at 12Noon at Acacia Memorial Park. A public reception for continued sharing will follow at Neva's home between 4 and 6PM.

Neva had many friends and family visiting her over the Holidays and her family celebrated Christmas Day and evening at her home. She will be greatly missed for her quick wit and her blue “baby blues” eyes. We Love you Nanny, is what most called her.
