“Lainey” attended and/or graduated from University of Maryland, Duke University, Johns Hopkins University, and Baltimore Hebrew University – PhD Candidate, ABD, specializing in Ancient Near East Civilization.
She served as a lieutenant in the U.S. Navy from 1965 to 1967, working in top-secret communications.
Work history included instructor of World History at Western High School in Baltimore, MD, Geography at Northern High School in Baltimore, MD., Intel Corporation, SAS Institute (instructor), Unisys (software systems instructor & manual editor) and lastly Towson State University in Towson, MD teaching Biblical and Ancient Civilization Courses.
Hobbies and interests included Ceramics, Weaving, Movies & TV (especially crime dramas) and New Age music.
She is preceded in death by her parents Jerome and Belle Levin.
She is survived by her brother Aaron Clements-Levin of Lake Forest Park, WA.
The family would like to thank Dr. Adam VanBuskirk and the nursing staff at Northwest Hospital for the care and compassion they showed our Lainey in her final days.
