Mike was fearless with a heart of gold. He lived a life of exuberant generosity, cared deeply for those in his life, and was a comedic genius who could always make everyone laugh. Mike was the life of the party to say the least and he lived life to the fullest. He was a lover of music (the louder, the better), history of all kinds, NASCAR, and fishing. Mike worked alongside his father Gordon at Chase Lake Topsoil, held a job with JB Asphalt for many years, and later worked with his son Mike at Earth Tech Development.
His kids were everything to him. He loved taking them to concerts, attending games and car races, playing pranks on them, teaching them how to drive, and quizzing them relentlessly on rock trivia. He cherished being a grandpa (and a great-grandpa) and adored his grandchildren who brought him so much joy. Mike loved spending time with his friends and family, just laughing and talking. He loved people.
Mike was born in Seattle, WA on May 30th 1950 to his loving parents Gordon and Elizabeth Brown. Mike is survived by his son, Mike Brown II, daughter Shannon (Brown) Horner, daughter Lacey Brown, step-daughter Vanessa Dubiel, grandchildren Melissa Horner-Brown, Tyler Horner, Chauntelle Hubner, great-grandson Mason Robichaux, son-in-law DJ Horner, former wife and long-time companion Lynda Homan, foster sister Carole, cousin Jerry Brown, niece Tracey Stubbs, and nephew David Stubbs.
