Maxine was born in Seattle, Washington on June 19, 1927 to Samuel and Beatrice Gustav. She graduated from Garfield High School.
She was married to Albert Bensusen and had one son, Stevie Bensusen.
Maxine worked in the jewelry industry. She managed the jewelry department at I. Magnin for 30 years creating an elite store for high end jewelry. She loved walking and exercise. She was into interior design and doing projects. She had a love for music, especially her son’s. Most of all, her pride and joy was her granddaughter, Adara!
She is survived by her beloved son Stevie and granddaughter Adara Bensusen.
