Mary Evelyn Porter was born in Kelso, WA on December 31, 1936. She moved around with her family a lot as a child. They settled in Seattle. She married Ray John Porter May 14, 1955. They bought their little house in Lake City in 1958 and raised their 4 children, Daniel Ray Porter, Donald Wallace Porter, Laura Lee Wilson and Ronald Wayne Porter. She had 5 grandchildren, Robert William Wilson, Mary Elizabeth Wilson , Jacob Thomas Wilson, Anthony Victor Porter and Corey Ray Porter. She had 1 great grandchild, Anthony Kayden Porter (AJ). She is survived by her brother Jim Mincy. Her passion was her family. She loved to cook, work in her gardens and she was very artistic.
We all thank her for always comforting us. We all felt her unconditional love and friendship. She always said the right things and made us laugh with her stories. She was always appreciated and meant so much to all of us. Her family and friends will remember her and love her forever.
