Mary Louise Baxter was born in Spokane, WA December 15, 1949 to Daniel and Madeline Gronenthal. She came from a large family having six brothers and sisters; Mike Gronenthal, Judy Holmes. Janice Gronenthal, Robert (Bob) Gronenthal, John Gronenthal, and Daniel (Skip) Gronenthal. She married Gary L. Baxter on August 29, 1969 and had 2 daughters. She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Children Margaret Wilburn and Caroline Baxter- Clubine, son-in-laws Craig Wilburn and George Clubine and grandson Jackson.
MaryLou, as she was called by her family and friends, passed away on Nov. 18, 2023 peacefully with her family. She was a devoted wife, mother, and grandmother. Raised in the Catholic Church and most recently part of St. Thomas Church in Lynnwood, WA, she held her faith close to her heart. She was the life of the party and brought her loved ones together. She loved to paint, craft and play puzzle games. In her youth she enjoyed playing softball and basketball. Never afraid to take on a challenge from remodeling or learning something new, she taught her children you could do anything if you work hard.
