Marni was a classmate of mine at Chinook and Bellevue High. I am sad to learn of her passing so young. I remember her as intelligent, quick-witted and well liked. I knew she came from a prominent local family and my sincere regards and condolences go out to the family and all those she loved.

Marni was a childhood friend and I will miss her deeply.  We met in the 7th grade and have been friends every since, and became roommates after college. We lost track of each other in recent years but my heart still holds the memories of a fun and caring person.  My condolences to her family.

Marni was the flower girl in my wedding.  Her parents were friends with mine in the early days in Bellevue.  My mother and her darling mother Leslie were great friends, and worked together on various Bellevue committees. Marni was a beguiling child and lovely adult.  My greatest sympathies to her loved ones.

I'm so sorry to hear about Marni. We have been neighbors for many years and I will miss her friendly smile and willingness to stop and chat any time of the day. My heart goes out to you all.

I was saddened to learn of Marnis passing . I've owned and managed the Montlake Boulevard Market for 37 years and in that time Marni became one of my regular daily customers. She always came by with a smile, some conversation and got her daily Diet Coke along with some food. She was not only a good customer but a good neighbor and friend. I will miss her. My condolences to her family.

Marni was a wonderful neighbor over many years. Her smile, smarts and wit will be greatly missed. Our deepest condolences to her family. We feel very fortunate to have had Marni in our lives.

Marni was a beloved friend and colleague.  She brought levity and insight into my life every single day.  I am selfishly saddened by her passing and feel deeply deprived of a friend who helped make life more meaningful and fun.

Marni's quick big smile for all, especially dogs, will long be remembered. I so appreciate her strong bond with Island Books' staff and customers. Until recently, I didn't know that she lost her own pet, Darby the golden retriever in November. Marni loved books, TV and movies, Huskies and UW, and was passionate about treating people as individuals (a trait in part from her Mother Leslie), and about justice and fairness in the world. I too miss her very much.
