Marie-Louise Wicks was born on February 22, 1920 in Vancouver, BC, Canada. She immigrated with her family to the Seattle area in 1925 graduating from Roosevelt High School in 1937. She married Charles Rogers Wicks on June 1, 1943 with whom she was married until his death in 2009.
Louise died Sunday morning, August 20, 2017 at the age of 97 at Ida Culver House Broadview. She is survived by her brother, George; sister-in-law Sylvia; cousin Audrey; sons Michael (Denise) and Bob (Lan); 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren and 6 nieces and nephews.
A "Celebration of Life" reception will be held at
Ida Culver House Broadview, 12509 Greenwood Ave. N., Seattle, WA 98133 on Saturday, September 23rd from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. where Louise and Rogers lived until their deaths.
