Margaret Lamb Daly

Margaret Lamb Daly passed away peacefully August 17th, 2016, at the age of 92. She was born in Lafayette, IN, in 1923. A Purdue University graduate, she worked for 30 years at the Arnett Clinic in Lafayette before moving to Scottsdale, AZ in 1979. In Scottsdale she enjoyed working at several retail shops before eventually retiring in the early 1980s. In 2012 she relocated to Seattle, WA to be closer to family.

Margaret was preceded in death by her husband, William (Bill), as well as 5 of her 6 siblings and her parents, Peter and Nellie. She is survived by her daughter, Mary Daly Erickson, son-in-law Bruce Erickson, grandson, Maxwell (Max) Erickson and honorary granddaughter, Jeannette Mukawizeye.

Known by many nicknames (Meg, Mag, Magee, Magoo), Margaret was beloved by all who knew her for her kindness, loyalty, deep sense of caring and uncomplaining nature. She will be greatly missed.

Services will be held September 3rd at 11:00AM at Our Lady of the Lake parish in Seattle, WA. Arrangements entrusted to Bleitz Funeral Home.
