Manny Mayugba Reyes Sr., aged 76, peacefully departed this world in his sleep during the early hours of Tuesday, April 16th, 2024. He was born on October 19th, 1947, in Manila, Philippines, to Isabelo Reyes and Maria Mayugba Reyes. Manny was the youngest among his eight siblings: Auring, Godo, Mila, Grace, Luz, Tony, and Shirley.
He embarked on his journey of education and graduated from Manila Central University. He spent a majority of his professional career as a dedicated and gifted Medical Technician in the hematology lab at Group Health in Seattle, WA, and later at San Francisco General.
Manny is survived by his beloved wife, Ofelia, his five children (Jennifer, Christopher, Regina, Maria, Manny Jr.) and eight grandchildren (Marcello, Chance, Marquez, Mylene, Olivia, Mianna, Lumen, and Myron). He cherished his role as a husband, father, and grandfather, pouring boundless love and support into his family.
Known for his vibrant personality, Manny was the life of the party wherever he went. His love for attention was matched only by his quick wit and sense of humor. A natural jokester, he had a knack for bringing laughter and joy to those around him.
Manny possessed a heart of gold. He was sensitive, generous, and selfless, always putting the needs of others before his own. His loyalty and compassion knew no bounds, and his love extended not only to his family and friends but also the family pets.
Manny's legacy lives on in the countless lives he touched with his kindness and warmth. He will be remembered fondly by all who had the privilege of knowing him as a loving husband, devoted father, grandpa, and cherished friend.
In honoring Manny's memory, let us celebrate the extraordinary life he lived and the profound impact he had on those fortunate enough to share in his journey.
You will be dearly missed but forever remembered with love and admiration.
