  My deepest thoughts are with, my sister, mom, and dad she loved you all so much and I will never forget the great memories we all shared together. Tauschamy sister Makayla loved you very much and she always will. I always have thoughts of when I would tease her and she would come back for more and Tauscha would say stop and did I lisen, no so one day in the car I was bugging her so she scrached me and I have a scare on the side of my face and that was the last time I did that. I also have memories when her nana and I would pick her up from daycare for the day and would take her all over just to spend time with her. Or when we went to my Babseball games she would gwt to sit in the dugout and she loved that because she got all the attention. Makayla we all will miss you.

It's difficult to bear the loss of one so very dear.  May it help a bit to know that caring thoughts from all of us go out to all of you.  You all have very special memories of Makayla and may you find comfort in that as well.  We never met Makayla but our daughter Kaitlyn is very close with Katey and our hearts just break for your whole family.  It is so hard for children to lose someone so close to them and the pain and suffering Katey has endured because of the loss of her "sister" is just as heartbreaking as losing Makayla.  Blesses to you all and know you all will get through this.  Extra special prays to Katey and Christopher.

Sara-I know how much Makayla meant to you, everyone that knows you did.  I am so sorry for your loss as well as Makayla's entire family.  I hope you all find encouragement in this verse from the Bible:

My deepest sympathy to all of you.  I've seen so many pictures throughout Sara's home and heard so many stories that I know Makayla meant the world to everyone that new her.  I am so sorry for your loss and wish there were something more I could do for any of you.

My fondest memories of Makayla was when she came over to play with my daughter Davonna.  They laughed together and even shared quite nicely.  Makayla loved the chinese rice patties provided by my mother and her and Davonna fought over the last one.  Makayla was a very sweet and wonderful child, but a biter.  Not much damage was done but she did win and got the last "cookie".  When she came to my house, she walked in like she had been there everyday.  It was quite comforting to know the kindness and innocents of children where they feel safe and comfortable even in a strangers home.  Bryon, my deepest deepest sympathy goes out to you because I know and have seen what a caring and loving father you were.  I pray for you and all of Makayla's family and will think of you everyday.  When we all got together last April for the Chinese dinner and she just loved the hot and spicy chicken that neither you nor Sara could choke down will be another lasting memory.  I see her pictures everyday plastered all over Sara's office and know what a truly loved child she was.  My blessings go out to all of you in this time of sorrow but always know you have support from all of us.

Please know that we are so sorry for EVERYONES lose, this is very hard to write, as it is still so hard to believe.  We were devastated when Sara called to let us know.  Shane & I only saw Makayla a few times in the 2 years that EVERYONE was so blessed to have her here.  The time we both remember so dearly was when we met Makayla, Byron, & Sara at the park.  Just thinking of how Sara, Shane, & I watching such a PROUD Father playing with his little girl and seeing that precious smile light up all our faces, if only we could all be that young and carefree again. My thoughts are with you everyday.  Not a day goes by that I don't think of what a special gift you helped bring into this world.  Makayla is the sweetest little girl.  I will always have the memory of Friday when ya'll were leaving and she went around the room with big hugs and kisses.  How I wanted to take her home. My heart goes out to you at this time of the greatest sorrow I hope you ever have to know.  My memories of you and Makayla will linger in my heart forever.  Working with you and sharing stories of Makayla's latest adventures, and the milestones! she lit up your face when you were around her.  You would count the hours until you could be with her.  Your caring and concern for your daughter was A+, I doubt there is a father anywhere who loved his daughter as much as you loved Makayla.  I remember your delight at changing the name on her birth certificate, giving her the initials of MOM while paying tribute to your own Mom who has been so supportive of you over the years.  I'm glad you have your family to support you now and if you ever, ever, need anything, you know where to find a whole office full of people who believe in you, share your sorrow, and would go the distance to give you the support you deserve!  My love to you, Bryon!  Be good to yourself and find forgiveness for those who would destroy your self-esteem and cast doubt upon the love you had for your wonderful daughter.

I am so sorry to hear of your loss. I never met Makayla although I felt I knew her as she was spoken of so often. I am still in shock as I only found out today. Sara I know how much she meant to you and how much you meant to her. I have missed hearing about her but when visiting last month it was nice to hear you still speak so highly of her and still have so many fun stories. I will always remember how excited you would be on Tuesday's, Thursdays and your weekends with all 3 of your babies. I know what a great Mommy you are and know how much Makayla will be missed. My heart goes out to all of you and I sincerely hope your children are ok with all that has happen. I read their memorials and cried. It really made me realize what an extreme loss this is for them, especially with them being so young it just breaks my heart to hear they have lossed their sister that they truly cherished. I want everyone to know how much I loved my sister Makayla.  I tried so hard to not let the ambulance people stop working on her but they wouldn't listen to me.  I don't think I ever thought how hard it would be to not have her here anymore.  She was so fun to play with and she would only let me help her ride my scooter.  She would always hug and kiss me and laugh at me and make me laugh.  She would hug and kiss me when I would pretend to cry.  I know she always thought that made me stop crying.  She liked to wake me up early in the morning so we could play with my cars.  She liked the dolly strollers better though so she would have to go wake Katey up.  I will always love you Makayla and I will always miss you.

I know Makayla was not really my sister, but in my heart she was.  When people would ask me who she was I would always say she was my baby sister.  I loved her so much and she loved to play with our dolls and strollers.  Whenever we got things out to play with them I would let her pick what she wanted first and I would take what was left.  After a few minutes, she would change her mind and want what I had and I would always give it to her.  Then we would trade and after another minute, she would want to trade back.  I realized she only wanted what I had, it didn't matter what it was.  Makayla loved to get out all our strollers and line them all up in the living room then one by one she would push them accross the room.  Sometimes she would try and push all the strollers at the same time and it would make her really mad that she couldn't.  One time I put a really big peice of paper on our bedroom wall so we could color on it and pretty soon Makayla started writing on the wall in our room.  Mom said it was ok she could wash it off.  I asked my mommy if we could keep it there now since she won't ever be able to write on our wall again.  I went to a movie with my Auntie after Makayla went to heaven and it was really funny.  After the movie I cried really hard because I knew Makayla would have really liked it.  I miss my baby sister and I wish I could have done something so she was still here with me.  I really liked it when she got to stay with us for a whole week because she was so much fun.  I liked to take baths with her because we had lots of pooh tub toys and we would squirt each other with water.  She didn't like it when I dumped a cup of water over her head until I let her dump one on mine.  Then we would take turns dumping water over each others heads.  Makayla always called our kitty, baby-bug, dog-dog and we would tell her it was a kitty or a cat but she still called him dog-dog.  Makayla could say my name and she called my brother erer or just point at him.  She loved to smile at us and make us laugh and when we would laugh at something silly, she would be sillier so we would keep laughing.  I remember when Makayla stayed the night at our house for the first time I begged and begged my mommy and Bryon to let her sleep in my room but they wouldn't let me.  It was because they wanted to watch her sleep all night.  When we moved into our new house I was really excited because Makayla and I got to shared a room so she slept in our room all the time.  Makayla bit me really hard one time and it made my arm bleed and it made me cry but I didn't want her to get into trouble.  Bryon sat her in the corner and told her that she couldn't bite anymore and she sat there only for a few seconds because I went over and played with her some more.  I don't think she knew that when she bit me, she hurt me.  She hugged me and kissed me so I knew she was sorry.  One time she bit a little boy at McDonalds and then laughed at him.  I think she thought she was kissing him not hurting him.  I have so many things that I remember about Makayla and I have a journal that I write in.  I showed my mom and she cried because everything that I have writen in it since Makayla was born was about Makayla.  I love you Makayla very much and you will always be my baby sister and I will always love you.

The love and joy that Tauscha, Mary, Linda and Erick gave our little Makayla was so full and complete and I am grateful to be a witness to it.  I don't think of sadness when I think of Makayla, she was the brightest of lights in this world. So I try to focus my thoughts on her, not my loss, but my gain as I did when she was living.  She warmed my heart, delighted my senses and restored my soul and I could only smile or laugh.  She gave that all to me freely and it will always be imbedded in my heart and soul, so she will always be with me. A child so little has a pure heart and mind.  I seen her whole being light up whenever she was in the presence of her mommy, auntie, pa pa, nanny, she beamed, she will comfort you always.

I didn't know this family, but I am also the mother of a 2 year old.  When you become a mother, it's like you become a mother to all.  I love children with all my heart and believe that each day spent with our children is a gift from God.  When I read about this precious little child going to Heaven, my heart broke for her family and all those that will have to go on without her.  God bless you all. I looked forward to the end of the day when she came to tell me goodbye with her bright smile as you were going home. She's such a pretty girl!! Makayla was Kady's first friend here in Issaquah. When we asked who her friends were, "Kayla" was always her first response. When I first brought Kady in to visit, Makayla was the first to greet us with her bright smile. She will forever be in our hearts. Our thoughts and prayers are with you all. I would like to thank everyone that has left such sweet, sincere and kind thoughts to all Makayla's family.  Makayla was my whole life and meant the world to me.  I did and would do anything for my sweet angel.  I miss her greatly but also understand that she can never be replaced.  Thank you all again so much for your warm thoughts and prayers.

Our most fondest memories of Makayla, Bryon and Sara are when we went to India for a month, leaving behind my mother and father who speak no english and do not drive.  Bryon woke very early every day to drive my father to the bus and when he came home from work with Makayla, he would bring her to visit my mamma since she was so lonely.  Makayla loved going to see mamma since there were always treats waiting.  Bryon and Sara and their family were very good to our family and to Makayla.  The Thursday before this tragety, all the kids in the neighborhood were riding their bikes while Makayla tried so hard to keep up with them on her little trike.  I remember watching out the window knowing I lived in a wonderful place with wonderful neighbors.  This saddens my heart yet I know how truly blessed we all are for knowing her even if only for a brief time.  My Papa always says that Bryon is like his son so our whole family ache for you all.  Blessed be the angels watching us in heaven, Makayla is now our angel so we are all blessed.

Nghia is our son and spoke very fondly of Makayla and the rest of her family here in Lynnwood.  We were all very saddened when we heard about this tragety but are comforted knowing the love she shared with this family.  We are praying for you all and will miss seeing Makayla playing with all the other children on our street.  Bless you all-The Bun Family

Makayla was my friend.  I played with her every time she was with her Daddy and I loved her very much.  I will miss her and I feel very sorry for her whole family.  She was very happy here but I know she is with God now.

Makayla is already very missed.  We loved her very much.  I feel so bad that her funeral turned out the way it did.  I'm still in shock with some of the things that were done and said at her funeral.  I thought our family did a nice job of keeping comments and disagreements to ourselves.  I think when God takes such young children it's because he has a very special purpose for them.  I also believe that in heaven she is no longer the 2 year old mortal that she is here.  I believe she was given Gods wisdom and she was made well aware of everything that was going on here.  Just remember that Makayla knows that you guys loved her and everyone else too!  I would've thought that with such a tragedy it would've brought people closer.  Not made them hate more.  I wish it would've been different.  We love you guys very much.  We will be praying everyday for you and your family.

I can picture Makayla beaming down at you now knowing how much you loved her and how much she loved you.  I'm so sorry for your loss.
