Louise was born in Kellogg, ID to Roy and Delia Burkhart on September 5, 1932. She went to high school at Kellogg High School and graduated in 1950. She married the love of her life Al Wright on December 2, 1961. They moved their family to the Seattle area in the late 1960’s.
Louise worked at the downtown Seattle Post Office for 10 years, where she met many dear friends who shared her unforgettable “gift of gab”. In 1982 she decided to stay home to spend more time with her family and pursue her true passion for arts and crafts. She never met a stranger and loved to share her adorable hand-made treasures with all who admired them. She enjoyed playing dice and card games and occasional trips to the casino. She loved music, especially the great “oldies” back when it was called, “country and western”.
She is preceded in death by her parents, Roy and Delia; brother, LeRoy Burkhart; sister, Martha Henderson; and her son, Steve Huston.
Louise is survived by her loving husband Al; three sons, Michael Huston; David Huston; and Roger Wright; two daughters, Mary Huston; and Susan( Craig) Fisher; eight grandchildren; grandson, Steve Guardipee; Adam Guardipee; Jaryd Wright; Erik Wright; Dylan Fisher; three granddaughters, Ashley Wright; Courtney Fisher; and Shelby Fisher; two great-grandsons, Zakari Lovelace; Julian Johnson; brother, David( Nancy) Burkhart of Chatham , IL.
