59 years old, of Seattle passed away peacefully on May 22nd at Swedish Hospital. She was born in Seattle on November 7, 1961. Lisa graduated from Garfield High School and attended Central Washington Univ. and North Seattle Community College. She worked for many years at Sealth High School as a Special Education teacher for many years in the transition program. Lisa also coached the Special Olympics team and the cheer squad. Lisa loved watching her students compete every year in various track and field events. She was also proud of so many of her students that learned life skills and went on to work in jobs at Swedish Hospital, Safeway and Nordstrom to name a few. Lisa also loved to bake cakes and cookies and gift them to her many friends and family.
She is survived by her mother Reiko, sisters Kim and Madeline (Gary), brothers Kent and Greg, niece Vanessa (Dominique) and nephews Landon and Evan. She is preceded in death by her father Dick, brothers Ricky and Frankie.
Due to Covid restrictions, a private memorial service was already held. Donations can be made to Seattle Buddhist Church or Special Olympics Washington.
