Lillian Powell passed away in Auburn, Washington on June 5, 2016. She was born in Cruger, Mississippi. She later moved to Chicago where she married Otha Brown. They moved to Seattle in the 1950's and together had 5 children. She married her second husband, Terebia Powell in 1969.
Lillian worked at Boeing for over 40 years. She was a positive role model and active in her children's lives. She was active in her church and sang in the choir and was a member of the PTA. She was loved and respected by her High Point neighborhood and welcomed all to her home and table. She also loved watching football, fishing and playing volleyball with the Seattle Parks Department.
Lillian was preceded in death by her by her parents, Hattie Washington and John Reid, 3 brothers, Auto, Thomas and John. She is survived by her husband and loving children Alvin (Debra), Otis (Linda), Kenny, Eugene (Lisa) and Beverly (Charley) Lewis as well as 7 grandchildren and 5 great grandchildren. Lillian will be dearly missed by both family and friends.
