Lien Truong was born in Phnom Penh, Cambodia on Saturday, January 4, 1969. To escape from the Khmer Rouge, he, his parents, and his three sisters walked 52 days to Vietnam in 1975, where they stayed in the Song Be refugee camp for the next 8 years.
After 17 years in Vietnam, the family had the opportunity to immigrate to the United States in 1992. They took a plane out and began their new lives in Redmond, Washington. By the second week in the United States, Lien found work as full time Electronics Assembler. Soon after, Lien got married in 1995 and had two beautiful children, Allen and Cindy in 1996. Lien would go on to live a successful life, raising his family, purchasing his first house in 2006, and taking care of his parents in Renton, Washington.
Many would describe Lien as generous, hardworking, caring, and fashionable. He enjoyed karaoke, cooking, and shopping but too soon, he left this world at the age of 54 in Seattle, Washington on Friday, March 24, 2023. He will forever be loved and in our memories. A funeral service will be held on Saturday, April 8, 2023 at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 6701 30th Ave SW, Seattle, Washington.
