Larry Gene Romero, 68, passed away on February 22, 2021. Larry grew up in Ketchikan, AK and graduated from Kayhi class of 1970. As a young man growing up, his wild and adventurous, free thinking nature prepared him for his life ahead in Seattle.
Larry was a mechanic extraordinaire, fisherman of renown, foreman at Mack Trucks and Scarcella Brothers Inc. and a member of the 302 Union for 45 years. He was a great brother, great husband, great father, and great papa - a man with a truly loving and generous heart and a contagious laugh and smile. He and his wife, Carmen Romero, raised three beautiful girls together.
After retiring, Larry enjoyed playing pool, going camping, and fishing with his family and friends.
His family includes his brothers and sisters - Donny, Phillip, Lourdes, Paula, Leonardo, Joanna, Alfredo, and Cheryl, his children - Melissa Romero, Jessica Hanson (Kyle Hanson), and Vanessa Lemafa (Lua Lemafa), and his grandchildren - Brayden, Kenai, Mae, Joseph, Eli, and Koa.
