Larry Richard McKibben, aged 77, passed away on 9/7/2022 in his home in Seattle Washington. He was born in Long Beach, California to Clarence Olin and Mildred Elizabeth (Templin) McKibben. He is preceded in death by his parents and wife Virginia (Shelley). He is survived by sister Diane Gump (Mike) and children Lisa Ellen and Kevin Richard. A veteran, a retiree from the City of Seattle, a tinkerer with a soft spot for dogs, and master craftsman and artisan. He was an amateur radio operator (KB7ZTR) and woodturner who enjoyed passing out homemade bowls and Christmas tree ornaments made from wood collected everywhere he went. He will rest in the forests of Washington with his wife of 40 years, and two beloved dogs Vito and Tanner. Donations can be made in his honor to the Seattle Humane society. www.seattlehumane.org
