Katherine W. Katie Barnett was born in Sacramento, California on October 30th, 1937 and died in Issaquah on February 27th, 2015. One of 5 siblings born to Albert and Emily Weaver. Ellen(2010), Katie, Nancy, Albert and Murray.
Growing up Katie enjoyed horses, plants and waterskiing at Tahoe. She attended boarding school in the early 1950's and College of the Pacific in Stockton. She was married in 1966 to John Barnet and lived in Bellevue for over 20 years to raise a family. Katie donated her time in many ways to all around. She worked at Lakeside-Milam as a case manager for almost 17 years.
Katie then moved to South Whidbey Island for her next 20 years. She enjoyed friends, knitting, stamping, gardening and her dogs Maggie, Buster and Cricket.
Katie is survived by her children John Barnett & Sarah Routos (Stephen) and her grandchildren Erin, John and Josh Barnett; Kallie & Cole Routos.
