Karl Joseph MAHR A Burien resident for many years, Karl left this world to be with the love of his life, his wife Vi, on Sunday morning, September 7, 2008. He was 94 years old. Karl and his wife owned and operated several businesses, including 2 ice cream shops, the last one in Burien. He went on to a career managing liquor stores for the State of Washington until he retired. Karl and Vi were inseparable. When she was diagnosed with Alzheimer's and he could no longer care for her at home, Karl visited Vi everyday so she wouldn't forget him. Karl is survived by several nieces and nephews and their families.A graveside service will be celebrated at Evergreen-Washelli on Saturday, September 13th, at 2:00 p.m. Please sign the on-line guestbook.
