Hardly an event goes by that doesn't trigger a memory of shared experience with Jon. I miss him more with each passing day.

Dear Christie, Sean and Alii,
It has indeed been over a decade since we had contact, but I do think of you as a loving family then and I am sure you have been a support for each other after this loss. 
And Christie, even as I have and have had dear friends since back then, I still include you as one of the dearest from MI days into our married years on 2 continents. Tapas in the Spanish restaurant with you and Sean under the Metro Line 6 at Place Grenelle is one memory after our kids were grown or visiting you both in your Tacoma home with Claude before we had kids and yours were very young...or a big Bellevue dinner with Alison, your grown kids and our young daughters. All still comes back regularly, along with the sneaking out of a football game to cross the Bridge to drive with you on I 5 when it was still a very very short stretch in Seattle. 
All our condolences and deep wishes entering the holiday weeks.

Jon - You have been gone for some time now. Yet, it is nearly daily that I think of something that I want to share with you and get your thoughts on the subject. I guess that is what loss is. Our sister recently commented that loss is not having the one person you want to share your triumphs and successes with - not to mention - the one person you want to share your challenges and problems with. Well - you were always that one person for me. I miss and love you. Your brother and friend - Gordon

My brother always had stories to tell and observations to share. Many a time we groaned at really bad jokes/puns. His love for family was real, his dedication to doing a job "right" was real. He always strove for the best, in himself, for his family. I will always remember times at the drive-in, touch football, whiffle ball, Barbra Streisand coming from under the closed door of his room and the relish of good food and conversation at various family gatherings. I will miss the ha hat's on FB and my yearly BD picture. I will miss you. You have always been in my life.
