John L. Dack, 91, of Seattle, WA, passed away on January 7, 2013. He was born in Seattle on January 23, 1921. John graduated from Ballard High School. He was married to Mary H. Dack on May 1, 1947. John had a career with the Seattle Police Department in communications and retired from there. He was a member of the DX club and had a passion for ham radio, traveling, cars, and his favorite restaurants. John was an all-around caring, loving, and kind hearted man. He is survived by daughter Kathleen Dorgan; granddaughter Teresa Hein; grandson-in-law Clarence Hein; great grandchildren Alexis Hein, Zackary Lord, & Dustin Lord; sister Alice Burrell; nephews Steven Burrell, Paul Burrell, & John Burrell. He is preceded in death by his wife Mary; parents Dorothy and Edward; brothers Earl and Bruce. In Lieu of flowers, please make donations to your charity of choice.
