John was born on February 22, 1932 in Sanford Mississippi. He passed away at the age of 78 on January 16, 2011 in the comfort of his home. John will be greatly missed by his friends and family. John was preceded in death by his wife, Barbara and sister, Mary. He is survived by his children Patty, Daniel, John Jr. and Robert; his grandchildren Elton, Binnie, Jameson, John III and Justin and great grandchildren DeMario, Tianna, Lekia, Alexandria and Breanna, as well as many friends and extended family members. Please come celebrate with us the life of John Coleman. A time of visitation will be held, Thursday, January 20, 2011 from 1:00pm to 4:00pm at the Forest Lawn Funeral Home. There will be a Funeral Service at 1:00pm on Friday, January 21, 2011 at Forest Lawn Funeral Home, 6701 30th Ave. SW Seattle, WA 98126, (206-932-0050). There will be a reception at the family home located at 905 SW 106th St. Seattle, following the services. The family would request that in lieu of flowers, that donations be made to the Swedish Cancer Institute.
