My heart is heavy as I just found out that Jan French passed away. I found out yesterday from a homeless person on the streets of Seattle. I met Jan years ago during covid at Fisher Pavilion where I worked for the Salvation Army. Jan and I had many talks and we told each other stories of our past. He had many friends on the street and people enjoyed his company and Brotherhood. He spoke of his family as I spoke of mine and we became friends. Jan is in a better place he feels no pain and he feels no sorrow! We shared an interest in old coins and they still have a Mercury dime that he gave me years ago. Still can't believe that he's gone. My condolences to his family and prayers to you all. Lord Father in Heaven I just thank you for my time with Jan and I pray that he's at rest now and with you and your lord Jesus Christ name amen

Jan was my younger brother by a year. He had a heart of gold and would always have something to give you that he thought you might like.  He had a way with animals and he liked children; always bringing something for them that was uniquely Jan.                                                          I was glad to spend time with him and enjoyed many phone calls with him over the past few years. He will always be remembered for his kindness. I will miss him deeply, as will all of our family.
