Ivette Arlene Wallin, 51 was unexpectedly and tragically taken from this world on January 2, 2023. She was born December 13, 1971, in Oakland, California. Although born there, she was an Alaskan Native where she spent the first two years of her life in Kodiak after which she was primarily raised in Seattle, Washington. She graduated from Ingraham High School in 1990.
From an early age, Ivette was a bright, loving, and inquisitive little girl. She grew up attending Saint Spiridon Orthodox Cathedral in Seattle. She was very active, participating in both horseback riding and gymnastics. Ivette was also a member with the Highlanders Drill Team for four years and was involved in Girl Scouts growing up.
Ivette was known for her creative and artistic abilities, even having her work displayed in an art gallery. She had a deep admiration for animals, especially horses. Riding and showing horses was a hobby she truly enjoyed.
Ivette is survived by and will remain in the hearts of her loving and devoted mother, Virginia Wallin (King), her aunt Margie and uncle Buzz Paulson, her aunt Donna and uncle Roger King and her aunt & godmother, Eleanor King. Ivette was preceded in death by her father, Ivar A. Wallin Jr. (Charlie); who was a Vietnam veteran, her paternal grandfather Ivar A. Wallin Sr., her uncle Robbie King and her maternal grandparents, Robert & Helen King. Ivette will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

Beginning with visitation 11:00 AM - 4:00 PM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, Seattle.
Prayer service to follow 6:00 PM - 7:00 PM at Saint Spiridon Orthodox Cathedral, Seattle.
Funeral Services held Friday, January 20, 2023
12:00 PM at Saint Spiridon Orthodox Cathedral, Seattle. Follow by graveside committal at Evergreen-Washelli Cemetery, and a reception to conclude at Evergreen-Washelli Funeral Home, Seattle.
A fundraiser has been created to help cover the costs of Ivette's funeral expenses, as this passing was completely unexpected.
