Helen Patricia Seresun believed that nothing mattered more than the gift of family and friends, and on April 15th, 2020 she passed away surrounded by her four daughters, one granddaughter, and husband, Donald Michael Seresun, of whom she was married to for 68 years.
Pat was born in Ellensburg, WA on October 7th, 1933 to Phebe Anne Titus and Howard Glen Barton. She was raised in Seattle, WA with her five sisters – Jo Ann, Shirley, Bobbie, Carol and Janet. At the age of 15, she returned to Ellensburg, WA to live with and care for her grandmother. After graduating from Ellensburg High School, Class of 1951, she enrolled in Felt and Tarent Comptometer school.
On May 3, 1952, she married Donald, who was born in Roslyn, WA and attended Renton High School in Renton, Washington. Over the years, Patricia gave birth to five daughters. In 1961, Cindy Seresun preceded her Mother in passing on April 1st at the age of 5 years old.
Don and Pat enjoyed building a life and raising a family together and were very proud of their children and their grand children's accomplishments. Patricia prided herself on being a devoted wife, loving mother and loyal friend. Her sense of humor and infectious laugh helped bring the family together and build strong bonds that lasted a lifetime.
Pat is survived by her husband, Don; daughters and their partners, Machelle and Art Nagel, Dawn and Peter Rudolph, Kelly and Peter Johnson, and Karen Seresun and Kim Kelly; 10 grandchildren, Kristina (Nagel) Parker, Julia (Nagel) Waybrant, Vanessa Nagel, Christopher Nagel, Brianna Nagel, Jonathan Nagel, Leah Rudolph, Haley Rudolph, Alexys Johnson and Aaron Johnson; and 4 great grandchildren, Carter DesGeorges, Colin Parker, Tungsten and Taylor Waybrant; She is also survived by her sisters, Carol Hooper and Janet Combs.
Patricia cherished her role as a Mother and not a day will go by that she won’t be missed.
