Both his parents and two brothers preceded him in death.
He served in WWII and received an Army of Occupation medal and a WWII Victory medal. He also served in the Korean War and received a Korean Service medal with two bronze stars.
He is survived by his "Bride" Jane, children Chet, Christie Ann (Brian), Rose (Tim), Janis (Bill), Christy Jane (Mike), Leslie, Shelly (Ron), 10 grandchildren, 10 great grandchildren, his sister Geraldine, and numerous nieces and nephews.
