Dorothy Linda Laymance

Dorothy Linda Laymance, 78, passed away October 15, 2023, in Everett, Washington. She was born October 24, 1944, in Seattle, Washington and she lived in Washington state, her entire life. She graduated from BYU with a Bachelor of Science in Mathematics. Dorothy then went on to become a computer programmer for almost 30 years for the medical insurance industry.

Dorothy is survived by her loving Husband of 26 years, Elbert Laymance. She is also survived by her children, stepdaughter Jenni Kraft and partner Dan, of Kirkland WA, daughter Anna and son in law Lee Griffin, of Norfolk Virginia, stepson Russell and daughter in law Christina Laymance, of Everett Washington, stepdaughter Abby and son in law Vic Lam of Edmonds Washington, daughter Kathy and son in law Terry McCorkle, of Renton Washington, and daughter Bonnie and son in law Scott Putnam, of Renton Washington. She is also survived by 14 grandchildren, Alisa, Ryan, Laurel, Gabriel, Amelia, Kirsten, Sonja, Molly, Matthew, Mindy, Mason, Marcus, Kaylee and Kevin.

There will be a viewing held at Mays Pond LDS Chapel, 16124 35th Ave SE, Mill Creek, WA 98012, on Saturday, October 28th, at 10 am, followed by a memorial service from 11 am – 12 pm. There will then be a graveside ceremony at 12:30 pm at the Abbey View Cemetery located at 3601 Alaska Road Brier, Washington 98036.
