Don loved and lived life to the fullest. Until retirement he worked in retail and sales with various companies as well as owned and operated his own grocery store. After retirement he owned and operated a strip mall and spent time traveling in his motorhome and yacht. During that time period he also went on several cruises and train travels.
He is survived by his wife Marlene, children Sheryl, Ron, and Mark (Dennise) and Marlene’s children Besse (Tom), Tabby (Don), and Jamie. He is also survived by his grandchildren Ryan, Kevin, Travis, Eric, Renee, and Marlene’s grandchildren Hilary, Ben, Laney, and Georgia as well as numerous great grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his first wife Peggy, father, mother, brother, and two sisters.
A funeral service for Donald will be held Monday, April 3, 2023 at 10:00 AM at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home followed by a graveside service at the Evergreen Washelli cemetery.
