I am Don's younger sister.. (By alot). Due to our huge age gap, I did not get to grow up with him and create all these memories that the other siblings had, but it sounds like everyone had such good times. There was a time that Don came to live at our fathers place in Athol Idaho, and we did see each other then. Everytime I saw him, he started it out with a big hug and said, how are you sis?  We had some fun drinking and laughing around the bon fire that Gabe and Shannon always had going. He was always smiley and  happy everytime I saw him.
I'm thankful for this period of time, or I wouldn't have gotten to see/know him much in our lifetime. You will be missed Donnie. Love you. 

so your gone. you helped me grow into the woman I am today n words can not explain how much I appreciate n love u. the world can be so cruel to take the best of the living n put them in the ground, letting the soul roam free to ponder the earth as u once inhabited it. my heart aches that I never got to say goodbye to you. as much as I wish u were still alive, I remind myself of the constant pain u went through. I haven’t been able to understand how I feel yet. I wanna cry but yet I also wanna scream n pull my own hair out, only out of the wrath n grief my mind is now filled with. everyone dies which is more than something I know but something I’ve come to terms with. your death I wasn’t prepared for, I wish someone would have listened to my constant thoughts of supplication n put my mind at ease by putting ur health almost back to where it was. The days in Idaho when we’d wake up n you’d pack me n my sister up in the car for a daily ice cream cone every single day of one whole month. introducing me to riding quads which I would learn I would soon never forget the time you let me drive it when I was only 8. you are someone who I love deeply n give credit to the woman I have become today. you showed me how to love the smallest things in life n created most of my interests n I wish I had thanked u before u passed. the hours spent watching movies together n trying to guess the end, hearing u tell me stories of ur childhood n early adulthood, catching my mind n curiosity almost every second. R.I.P to a man who was a story teller, a father, a lover, a working man, a drinking man, a man of his word, a listener, a rough spoken soul, a teacher, and last but not least, my papa. i love u with almost all of my heart, n yes I will miss u deeply n I hope to move on from the blank feeling I seem to have been swallowed by.

First time I met him I took a shine to him. He was "down to earth" not just another "hired hand"  As a person with a good heart, my intuition was right! 

We had a good run... after working for "the man" ( city light) for years. Don and I would work together many days/weeks/years doing small jobs to benefit the community. Don would take the bus from Lake Forest Park to my house in Beacon Hill. We would work a few hours, make a few bucks, then call it a day. I would usually have time to drive him home.  

We had a lot of good times along the way. 



Don and I met in 2004! I was pregnant with Tryston and already had Austin! He was so funny! I remember thinking WOW these Wells boys have some strong genes! They all look alike! One of my favorite... and I mean MOST FAVORITE memory.... 🤣
2 summers ago... 
We always had an outside fire... nightly! Wether it was a  huge bon fire or small yard fire!  It was a chilly night and we were sitting kinda close as the wood was a little green! Next thing I know the fire got hot... as Gabe added a few more pieces it got hotter! Then sparks are flying! We are now moving faster... back, back, back!! Don cracks off a joke “maybe that’s where the Indians get there pow wow... I~yie~ I ~ yie... yie yie... (picture a native dancing)... because the fire got hotter with sparks flying  and they had to move back fast!” He was dancing like an Indian! We were all laughing so hard! 
He had a calm to him like nobody I ever met! His stories were so fun! His love for Jeeps (with Gabes love for Toyota) was always fun! I love drinking a beer with Don and hanging out at our place! His love for my boys and my cooking! He loved Idaho and being in the woods with us! If there is one life lesson I can take away that Don taught me was to love completely, never give up, and make the best of every moment!! Over the past 15 years we’ve had the best moments!! Rest Don... because we will meet again when The Lord takes us home!! 💘

I miss you so much already my first best friend my first love you had me at hello we were  young  in love  and on our way to a beautiful future together you would ride me around on your dirt bike and i was just so in love with ypu kind heart and calm presence my parents immediately loved you to they gave us there blesseing after my father gave you a good talking to within 2 years our jenny lynn was on the way and then we were 3 on our adventures * life was happiest we we were all together we travelled and worked some really cool jobs in sunvalley idaho camping out along the way we were so happy on  ours travles we visited yellow stone park  mt rushmore and many other cool stops along our way ,we went to Oklahoma worked there for awhile and then eventually back to washimgtom where we have been most of our time in different parts kenniwick was the sweet little tpwn we settled in for a few years  where we finally got married on our jenny lynns 5th Birthday ,  you said that way ypu would never forget our Anniversary *smart thinkin ! Then the following year our Little don jr was born to complete our sweet little family  .  We the travled a bot more including a brand new camper we stayed in ( quite cozy i might add ) untill we traded it for a small trailer we could pull around with us while you worked and i got to stay home and take care of our babys * i / we was so happy our little family bave always been so very close  , we have always all been there for eachother and always will be .* we settled down in a house in north seattle and stayed for 14 years  where we raised our kids and you worked  for Asplundh untill the kids were school age and then i worked for Asplundh too we built a sweet life together  i am trying so hard to be strong just like you want me too my heart is hurting and thats not going to go away ill miss you

my dad was a great guy one memory I have is when I was just a little boy and he would sit me on the front of his dirt bike and we would go on long rides. once we were riding and he started following some guys that were in a enduro race. along the trail there was this big hill were lots of guys were getting  stuck. but my dad with on front rode right up that hill, all the other riders were amazed how my dad could make it up with me on the front while many of them strugled to get on the own.
  Another time when I was older he took me and my cousin will up to the same área an went shooting. we had his brother's 12 gage an two smith an wesen  38 special's, we had a blast.  In tell our soul's meet again R.i.P  you will be missed 

Donnie was my cousin, but sometimes more like a brother, when they lived across the alley from us he went to school with me, my sister's  and all our friends.  My girlfriends thought he was adorable so he  had fun being the only guy hanging out with all girls.  Growing up we rode horses, played "kick the can"  with all our cousins during family reunions, went swimming, walked all over the  Butte in hermiston exploring 
making up stories about the big cross that sits on top of the Butte. Later in life we would hangout at Von and Linda's house with Donnie and Brenda, Suzi and I didn't have children but they all did.  Then after Von passed away with in a few years Donnie and Brenda moved to Seattle area, then we would see him every couple of years, time passes we kinda lost touch..  Rest in Peace Donnie 😇 ,  Love. I have so many good memories with my dad! He was pretty much the coolest daddy a girl could ever ask for. He had this cool calm collect personality and he was Rad at the same time. I like to think it rubbed off on me a little bit. My goal is to now just be more like my dad in every thing I do. 

When I was younger my parents used to take us on road trips to Boise Idaho in the summer time. We had the best time visiting my grandma Barb and all my uncles, and cousins. We would go and float the river, swim at the lake, go boating, and  of course attend awesome concerts at the park. It was some of my best memories in life. 

For a kid the drive was pretty fun, we would make a bed in the back of the car and read books, play games and sometimes my dad would stop alongside the road on a hot summer day find a swim spot and we would take a bar of soap and have a bath in the river. My dad would soap up his beard and we thought it was the funniest thing.  Man I am going to miss that goofy guy.  


 


Donnie lived near us in the 70's - across the alley!! It was all girls left at home in our household but Donnie would ride horses, go to the river and just hang out with us!!

Donnie was like a brother!! We had fun in the 70's hanging out. In this photo we were up at my Dad's cabin on Sacheen lake above Spokane. The back of this picture is dated Sept 1975. Left to right is Barbara (Wells) Cole, me Suzi (Wells) Bradshaw,  Donnie, Wendy (Wells) Evans.

I've known Don for 45 years he is and was my Best Friend, my Brother In Law, my Partner while on Work related Endevres and Each other's SIDEKICKS depending on what stage of our relationship we happen to be in.  I'm sure you all already know how close we were, and at time's not so close due to life styles,distances in miles and who each other had became , in the end we found each other again and I am so thankful for that, ALTHOUGH cut VERY SHORT OF THE NEW ENDEVORES WE HAD JUST RECENTLY STARTED PLANING,.
          I remember a time on a mountain on an island in the beiring sea dead of winter we climbed a mountain for two days covered in several feet of hard packed snow digging an ice cave to stay the night, in a land so far away during a time of year when there is no darkness.  Very excited we all ways were, And all ways ending up in the middle of a great adventure. On top of this mountain called mt,pyramid  I beleave, we we're ah struck at the discovery that there was no shadows anywhere depth perceptions gone, very strange phenomenon that happens when the clouds, th sea and the snow all the same colours  it all blends in togeather. Increadable experience and then we began our trip back down the mountain, talk about fun we ended up in a sitting position our legs locked one in front of the other and started down sliding , faster and faster an man Oman now we was really cookin , yehaw we we,re excited and scared,  remember (no depth perception ) but that was the kicker two days climbing straight up and it took just4 hrs to get all the way back down. Loads of fun to say the least we was screaming and whooping at times during our decent I swear we was going 50 mph lol Don and I had countless adventures River Rafting, Motorcycles, camping mt. Climbing and Hiking ,Bicycle riding trips, we went to alaska twice togeather once brimging our better halves w, us lol I WILL MISS YOU MY DEAR BROTHER UNTIL WE MEET AGAIN ON THE OTHER SIDE

My greatest memories are when we were little. We traveled on top if a truck cab in a box built by our dad. We moved from Idaho to Oregon. We fought as kids but who doesnt? I will never forget how kind and loving you were.I love and miss you. RIP my sweet brother.

You were about 8 years old the first time I met you. You were a cute, sort of shy guy, meeting your older half sister for the first time. You were always kind & loving & made me feel accepted & special. Years later when I came to stay with the family, you would take your year old nephew, Karl on a ride on the handle bars of your bicycle. You will be missed little brother. God bless, rest in peace!
