Great pastor! I still miss him. He was a great teacher, great mentor and a great friend. He loved souls with his heart!

Keep singing Pastor David!

Dave was always the good-looking one, and the smart one. He and my brother Rich were 5 and 7 years, respectively, older than me, and always my heroes. 
Because of this age difference, I was kind of the one that was left out, or at least I thought so. Dave and Rich even joined the army together,  which only increased my feeling of separation from them. 
After that, though, I was able to spend quite a bit of quality time playing music with my dad. I was the only one that took up the violin, like he played, so we had that in common. Rich and played trumpet and clarinet. 
We only tried playing music once all together, one year at Christmas.  I don’t recall that working real well, but I’m not really sure why. 
Dave and I continued to stay in touch throughout our adult lives, but because of distance, didn’t see each other a whole lot.
We did get to play music again, later in life at his church, which was quite satisfying. 
He never stopped being my hero. 

Pastor David, 
Thank you so much for being such a great pastor. A wonderful man of God. I’m so grateful you were able to dedicate Isla & Maddox to God & that you got to marry Miles and I. Words can’t express how much I will miss you. Trying harder than ever to be able to see you again in Heaven 💛

Pastor David was a great pastor. He was the most loyal man I knew. He was a rock in times of hardship. He was always there for us. He always prayed for us. He was the best choice for our pastor when our previous pastor had passed. He loved the church and it's people dearly. He was hard on us, but I will always be thankful that he was. He cared for our souls. He loved his precious wife and his four sons with all his heart. He might not have said it in words much but you could sense the genuineness in his love towards his family and his church members.
I've learned so many things from him over the years.  Like fixing and repairing things, how to be wise in situations, but most of all how to be a better Christian, a better preacher and a better man. I will always be grateful for the times I spent with him learning things.
Pastor David you are appreciated, loved,honored, and respected. You were a soilder in the army of the Lord! You didn't burn out or rust out, you stayed faithful to the end. I love you.
