
Born in Clay Center, Kansas to Paul and Helen Gepner. He moved to the Seattle area during the 1970?s. He served in the United States Navy during his younger years. He enjoyed spending time fishing, boating, and car racing. Daryl was a life long carpenter. He was a member of union local 1797. He took part in building many structures in the Seattle area including the Seattle Art Museum and the Henry Art Museum. Daryl was honest and hardworking. He had stubbornness about him, but he also had a softer side. He was a loving and caring man who had a way with people. Everyone was drawn to his energetic personality. He will be truly missed by all who had the opportunity to meet him. A life took too soon, Daryl passed away on March 13, 2002 in Seattle, Washington. He leaves behind his children Kelly Gepner, Tonya Browne, and Michael Gepner, stepchildren Maureen Holmes, Vince Rossini, Valerie Engleston, and Aaron Geiger, 11 grandchildren, and his sister Evelyn Larson. He was preceded in death by his wife Rinda and his brother Kenneth. A memorial service will be held at the Fremont dock in Ballard on Sunday, March 17, 2002 at 2PM.
