Cresencia Irigon Lobo, affectionately known as Chris, was born on May 5, 1940 in Pasig, Philippines. Her father, Mario, was in the U.S. Army. He relocated his wife, Bella, and their seven children to Fort Lewis, Washington. At Clover Park High School, Chris later met and married Arturo Lobo. Together they had five children: Priscilla Weeks; Rey Lobo (Tammy); Tessie Lobo (Michael); Edwin Lobo (Janet) and Abe Lobo (Kris). Chris adored her 14 grandchildren and numerous great grandchildren.
Chris was a devout Catholic and was a member of the Legion of Mary at St. Edwards Church (Seattle). Over the years, she volunteered at various food banks around Seattle in addition to volunteering at St. George School as she was known as “Lola Chris”. That was one of her greatest joys, and she loved spending time with all the kids there.
As an avid runner, Chris competed in several local marathons until she was in her late 60’s. She did the 200-mile Seattle-to-Portland Bike Race.
Chris had an interest in the medical field and enjoyed working in that environment. She worked at Pacific Medical Center, Harborview Medical Center, and until her retirement, Chris worked at University of Washington.
Chris is predeceased by her husband Arturo Lobo, her father Mario Irigon, and siblings Francisco Irigon and Mario Irigon Jr. In addition to being survived by her mother Bella Irigon, siblings Julie Graham (Larry) St. Louis, MO, Yolanda Heathman (Michael) California, Myrna Black (Charlie) California, and Robert Irigon (Bill) Seattle. Chris is survived by her children, grandchildren, great grandchildren, several nieces and nephews, cousins, and many extended family members.

A viewing for Chris will be held on Friday, April 4, 2025, from 12:00 pm to 7:00 pm, with the Rosary Services at 4:30 pm at Evergreen Washelli Funeral Home, 1111 Aurora Ave N, Seattle, WA 98133.
