Charles Walling passed away on December 29, 2008. He was born 6/18/1931 in Winona Minnesota to Harry and Sophia Walling. He moved to Seattle in 1939. He joined the Army in 1948. He was preceded in death by his parents and Robert Shrader, his son. He is survived by his wife, Thelma of 42 years. He is also survived by his daughters Sharon Shrader of Seattle, Debra John Thompson of Port Orchard, Joann Byerly of Spanaway and Kathy Mike of Sumner. He has ten grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren. Charles spent most of his time as a steelhead fisherman in his younger days. He was a retired Teamster. As he got older he got a computer and acquired a whole new world of friends in his Genealogy chat room. He's going to be greatly missed by his family and friends. Dad we will miss your e-mails and your atrocious spelling. Charlie could never find the spell check button.
