Chuck died 9/15/12 after a several year struggle with Alzheimer's. Chuck was born in San Diego, July 8, 1939 to Charles Ervin Stevens and Dorothy Eleanor Stevens (Fox). Chuck was raised in a career Navy family and lived in Guantanamo Bay, San Diego, Oakland, Norfolk VA, Wadena MN, and Bremerton WA. Chuck graduated from Bremerton High School in 1957 and attended Olympic Junior College.
Chuck lived in Seattle and was self employed as a manufacturer's representative for over 30 years. He was a great salesman and lived to work, though he played hard and found time for many hobbies including photography, tennis, kayaking, cooking, sailing, motorcycling and fishing.
Chuck was an incredible story teller, had a strong work ethic, great style and was always willing to provide guidance.
Leaves behind his wife, Muriel Van Housen, sons Mark and Mike, daughter-in-law Michele (Perry), grandchildren Kate and Sheldon, former wife and mother of his children, Margie Winters (Young), and favorite cat, Salvador.
