Charlie passed away on April 14, 2024 in Edmonds at age 81. Charlie met his childhood sweetheart, Linda, at age 15, and they were married on December 14, 1963. They were married for 59 years until Linda passed in 2022.
Charlie joined the Navy in October 1961. After living in New York and California, the family settled in Mountlake Terrace. Charlie retired from Sam Dick Industries in Seattle in 1994 as a Production Manager. After retirement, he worked part-time at the Washington State Liquor Board.
Charlie loved entertaining family and friends with his wife, Linda. He enjoyed cooking, fishing, music, and hometown sports teams, especially the Mariners. Beloved husband, father, grandfather, great-grandfather, brother, uncle, and cousin. Survived by his sons, Bernard Perretto (and his wife, Kathrine) and Charles J Perretto; 2 brothers, Frank and John; along with 3 adored grandchildren, 2 great-grandchildren, nieces, cousins, and best friend/brother of over 60 years, Ken Nicol.
Charlie is described as easy going and kind-hearted. He always opened his home and his arms to family and friends. Charlie will be greatly missed.
