Cathy Kay Kirk

Cathy Kay Kirk passed away on Monday, November 4, 2019. She was born August 5, 1948 in Tucson, Arizona to Nina Rose Thorne and William Edward Collins. She graduated from Foothill High School in Tustin California and received her Bachelor's degree from George Fox University in Newberg, Oregon. She was a Systems Analyst by trade and retired in 2013. Cathy was an avid reader and devoured audio books daily. She loved music and film, accumulating old movies and musicals, acquiring a substantial collection. Cathy was a fun-loving individual with a great sense of humor. In the last two years, she has been provided with heartfelt care in Bellevue Elderly Care. She is survived by her son, Gavin Kirk; daughter, Kimberly Kirk; her mother, Nina Rogers; her sister, Debby Collins; and her two granddaughters, Daria and Daphne, who were the love of her life. A memorial service for Cathy will be held Friday, November 22, 2019, at 2:00 pm at Acacia Funeral Home, 14951 Bothell Way NE, Seattle, Washington, followed by a reception from 3:00 pm to 4:00 pm.
