Brenda Frances (Towns) Smith, wife, mom, sister, and friend, age 72, left this world to be reunited with her husband and son and family in heaven on February 5, 2021 at Valley Medical Center in Renton, Washington.
Brenda was born on June 17, 1948 at King County Hospital in Seattle, Washington to Jack and Verla Towns and was a sister to Sharon and John. She grew up in the Skykomish area where she met and married her sweetheart, Dan Smith, on June 24, 1965. They bought a home in Lynnwood, Washington and raised their five children and many, many animals as Brenda had a caring heart for creatures both great and small. Among her many accomplishments, she was a gifted painter, crafter, archivist, dancer, and singer. She loved to read her Bible and complete crossword puzzles. She had a wonderful sense of humor and would often have friends and family laughing until they cried or their stomachs hurt. She always had a way to laugh through even the hardest of times and comfort others through tears.
