Ashley Nicole Nelsen, 31, of Oroville, Washington died suddenly and unexpectedly on October 30, 2019. The circumstances surrounding her death are currently under investigation. She was born to John and Gloria Nelsen on July 18, 1988 at Evergreen Hospital in Kirkland, WA. Ashley attended church throughout her childhood; she was baptized at Eastside 4 Square Church on April 6, 1997 at the age of nine. Ashley enjoyed school and was a good student; she graduated from Bothell High School in 2006. Ashley is survived by both her parents; her older brother Luke Nelsen and his daughter Harper Rae Nelsen; her older brother Duane DeValkaneer; and many other extended family members. A viewing will be held on November 23, 2019 at Acacia Memorial Park and Funeral Home Services at 10:00 A.M. with services following at 1:00 P.M. Memorial donations can be made at any Wells Fargo bank in honor of Ashley Nelsen.
