Kathy, I am sorry for your loss and the pain it brings.  Nothing can fill the void your mom leaves behind, but memories of her love, her laughter and caring ways can lessen the grief for everyone.  She always made me feel welcome and a loved family member.  I miss her too.

I just learned of Anita's passing.  She was the Forest Supervisor's secretary when I was assigned to that post in 1981.  She was a good and loyal employee who helped me make the transition to the new job. There is a picture of her and all us former and current (then) Forest Supervisors of the Mt. Baker-Snoqualmie National Forest. She had the thanks of all of us.  Doug MacWilliams

My best memory of your mom (and dad!) was the laughter and fun between them that they shared with you kids and all your friends (me, included).  I missed that very much when your dad died and now I miss it even more after losing your mom.  Take care and know that we are remembering and missing your mom very much.

I know you are at peace now, and I know our dad welcomed you with open arms-no doubt wondering why you waited so long !! You gave me a good life and taught me many lessons along the way. I am an independent and caring person because of you. You were a great role model for all of us. We always knew we were loved and cared for. Thank you for the thousands of photos you took through the years. Lots of great memories. Lots of travels-camping and trips to California, Cabo san Lucas, San Antonio, Victoria, Puerto Vallarta, Las Vegas, Maui for your 80th birthday, A Tahiti cruise with Vivian and me(I invited myself!!),
a cruise around the Hawaiian Islands,
and many other travels with family and friends through the years.

Such a sweet Lady.  I  remember the first time I met you.  It was St Patrick's day in 1980 and both you and Jim were gearing up with the wearn' of the green.  Quite a sight to see. Such a welcoming caring person and such a great smile.  You have left wonderful memories behind for us to cherish. Rest in Peace Anita and God Bless.
