Virginia Nora Ramos, a federal worker for the Defense Language Institute passed away on Thursday 12.21.17. She was 56. Born on November 10, 1961 in Fort Ord, California. Virginia lived and went to school in Monterey her entire life. Ms. Ramos was a Property Book Officer for the Defense Language Institute in the Presidio of Monterey for 36 years. She loved collecting valuables such as Beanie Babies, famous dolls and action figures, and grew her collection throughout the years with an assortment of memorable items she cherished. Virginia is predeceased by brother Frankie Ramos and survived by her five sisters: Julie Ramos, Irene Ramos, Darlene McCombs, Barbara Awong and Lu Ramos and brother Alan Ramos. Virginia is also survived by a handful of nieces and nephews whom she helped raise as her own. Virginia sacrificed much during her life to ensure the family she helped raise would have everything needed to be successful.
Virginia will be greatly missed by all who were blessed to have her in their life.
