Kevin Flores was many things; a son, a brother, a friend, a gamer, an all around amazing human being as well as so much more. He was a light in this world that was immediately recognized by anyone he encountered, his energy was so positive it almost made him glow. He lived and grew up in Seaside California, and was a Spa Technician at Spas By the Bay, and an incredibly good one at that. If you didn’t know him well you would think he was quiet and reserved, but all who had the privilege of getting to know him knew how beautifully complicated he was, from insightful thoughts, to stupid jokes, to profound realizations, to silly nicknames. There was a lot going on in Kevo’s world.
He grew up with two younger brothers, Logan and Giovanni, his older brother Jonathan, his older sister Stephanie, and his cousins Raymundo, Edgar, Marcos and Vanessa. His Tia’s Alma and Mirna. Tio Luis and Efrain, His Abuela’s Maria and Rosa. He also had extended family members as well, Terri, De’Liyah, Grandma Mary, Brenda, Yolanda, Angel, Gabby, Erin and Damien. He cherished all of them more than anything in this world. He had an unconditional love for his mother Riquelmy who’s connection he cherished with all of his heart. He was also the pride, joy and best friend of his father Oscar, they had the most amazing and beautiful bond built on love and respect that can only be found between a son and a father.
He loved to ride his BMX bike, play Apex or CarX with his brothers and friends, go on spontaneous adventures, learn new recipes to cook, and spend time with his family and the people he loved, even if you had to pull teeth to get him there. We will always remember him for his generosity, hilarious sense of humor, fantastic taste in music, his incredible smile, his beautifully intricate tattoos and piercings that he was very proud of, and so many more wonderful things that made Kevin such a uniquely special person.
A celebration of life funeral service for Kevin will be held Friday, February 2, 2024 from 4:00 PM to 8:00 PM at Bayside Community Mortuary, 1610 Noche Buena Street, Seaside, California 93955. All who knew and loved him are welcome.
