Ted R. Compton passed away at his home in Seagoville, Texas on January 21, 2015. He was born in Dallas, Texas on June 9, 1950. He is preceded in death by his parents Ray & Dorothy Compton. Ted is survived by his special friend and life companion Jackie Fowler; brother Davy Compton; sisters Karla & Darla Compton; nephew Jason Compton & wife Marcy and his four legged loved one Briget. Ted was a unique character with an unusual way of showing affection although he genuinely cared for everybody. He enjoyed being at home and surrounded by family, especially Jackie and Briget. Ted’s wishes were to be cremated. Family members will receive other family & friends at a visitation and memorial service to celebrate Ted’s life 7-9pm Thursday February 5, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home 1000 S. Hwy. 175 Seagoville, Texas 75159. Your presence will be greatly appreciated. You are welcome to send floral condolences or make a donation at the memorial service for a tree that the family will plant in Ted’s memory. Ted will be greatly missed.
