Ruby D. Finch

Ruby D. Finch was born in Devine, Texas on July 31, 1926 and passed away at her home in Kaufman, Texas on October 12, 2017. She is preceded in death by her parents, Alonzo and Manise “Mamie” Melott; her husband Robert Finch; her son Paul William Finch and her siblings Albert, Lucille, Pete, Mattie & Joe. Left with cherished memories is her son Billy Finch & wife Jean; daughter Carolyn Schwartz; daughter Catherine Wheat & husband John; daughter Fannie Stephens & husband Rick; grandchildren Melissa, Jason, Lee Ann, Callie, Fay Ann, Terri, Anita, Deborah, Cody, Aaron, Brittany and many other great grandchildren, nieces, nephews and other family loved ones and beloved friends. Ruby was a very selfless and giving person who always put others before herself. She loved to laugh and have a good time. She also enjoyed family activities and gatherings so she could cook for her family and be with them. Ruby was passionate about attending church services and talking to God. Family and friends believed Ruby had a direct hotline to God and was a true prayer warrior for all those she knew and loved. She was loved by many and will be deeply missed. The family will receive friends at a visitation 2-4pm Sunday October 15, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home, Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service to celebrate Ruby’s home going will be 2:00pm Monday October 16, 2017 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Interment will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, Seagoville, where Ruby will be laid to rest in between her husband Robert and son Paul William in the Garden of Roses.
