Miriam Araceli Hernandez

Miriam Araceli Hernandez was born on August 31, 1961, in Dallas, TX to her mother Cruz Hernandez - Delgado. Miriam grew up in Dallas, TX where she graduated from both Skyline High School and El Centro College. Growing up, Miriam was very bright and excelled in all of her academics. Miriam had three children, Eric, Marcus, and Leticia. Miriam enjoyed helping others which is why after years of working as a paralegal, she went on to work in the healthcare field at Parkland Hospital for 12 years. Miriam loved her children and loved being a grandmother even more. In her own free time, Miriam enjoyed cooking, dancing, listening to music, sewing, attending church, reading her bible, shopping, and being around her family. Most people will remember her laughter and infectious smile. She loved being silly and making those around her laugh.

She is preceded in death by her grandparents: Francisco and Felicitas Hernandez, mother, Cruz Delgado, Sisters: Gloria Deleon and Laura Lusty, Brother in laws: Tony Deleon and Luis Deleon, nephew: John Matthew.

She is survived by her siblings: Elizabeth Neria, Ruth Deleon, Frank Hernandez, Marisa Delgado, Freddie Delgado, and Cathy Rodriguez, children: Eric Alvarado, Marcus Alvarado, and Leticia Aguilar, son in laws: Donovan Gutierrez and Edwin Aguilar, and daughter in law: Hannah Alvarado, grandchildren: Pakanli, Desi, Aaron, Bonnie, Nella and Abel, and many nieces and nephews.

Miriam went in peace to our Creator on January 21, 2024, with her family surrounded by her side. The family is at peace knowing she is no longer suffering. She will forever live on in her family and friends.
