Matias Arredondo Flores age 82, of Mesquite went to be with the Lord June 8, 2016 in Dallas, Texas. He was born February 24, 1934 in Beeville, Texas to Manuel Flores, Sr. and Delfina Arredondo. Matias was a Mr. Fix It could fix anything especially lawn mowers and cars. He enjoyed playing the accordion. Matias Married his loving wife Dora February 21, 1953 in Beeville, Texas and they later moved to Dallas in 1955. He was head chef for 45 years for El Chico and El Fenix. Matias was preceded in death by his parents, Manual Flores Sr. and Delfina Arredondo Flores, daughter Dora Delfina Flores and sisters Maria Flores Garcia, Magdalena Flores Ortiz & Mary Guadalupe Flores Ybanez. He leaves behind to cherish his memory his loving wife of 63 years Dora Flores; five children Matias Flores, Jr. & wife Rosa, Delfina Flores Cox & husband Jerry, Aurelino Flores & wife Jolene, Margarita Flores Garcia, Alicia Flores Frankum & husband W. Scott and 14 grandchildren; 35 great grandchildren; brothers Manuel Flores, Jr. and Martin Flores and sisters Mercedes Flores Martinez & Margarita Flores Carrasco.
