Mary Sue Thompson, commonly known as “Mema” was born February 8th, 1934 to W.A. (Wilson Amos) and Lillie (Monday) Pritchett in Wood County, Texas, passed away Saturday, May 9th, 2020 a longtime resident of Seagoville, TX since 1971, but presently resided in Kaufman County, TX. She was 86 years old. Mary Sue Thompson was blessed with a large and loving family and was the second youngest out of eleven children. She married Jack Edward Thompson on April 3rd, 1950, they were married 37 years before he passed away on January 26th, 1988. Mary Sue is preceded in death by her ten brothers and sisters, her son Michael Thompson, and her grandson Jay Lee Schenkel II. She is survived by her daughter Lesa Schenkel and son-in-law Jay Schenkel, her granddaughter Heather McClung and husband Justin McClung, her great-grandchildren Grace (McKenzie) & Nathan McClung and Evelyn Schenkel, as well as two other sons, numerous grandkids, great-grandchildren, and cousins.
