Mark Nicholas Seifert II of Heartland, TX passed away on Thursday, October 6th, 2022 surrounded by his loved ones in his home in Heartland, TX. He will always be remembered as a loving husband, father, son, brother, grandson, friend, and colleague to all that knew and loved him. He was born on November 10, 1987, to Mark Nicholas Seifert Sr and Deanna Marie Seifert.
Mark was born in Garland, TX. As a child, he moved around a lot with his family but he spent the majority of his childhood living in Nashville, TN. When Mark was 16, he moved back to Texas. Mark graduated from South Garland High School in 2006. He met his wife Doris in 2007 and they married in 2014. They share 4 beautiful children together. Mark started his career in retail loss prevention in 2008. He worked hard throughout the years and advanced his career into a District Loss Prevention Manager role with Home Goods. Mark was a lover of all sports. Not only did he enjoy watching sports (Go Cowboys!) but he was also great at playing them. It didn’t matter what sport it was, he excelled at all of them.
During his free time, Mark liked to write music. No one could freestyle rap like he could. He was sharp and quick on his feet. Mark had a sense of humor like no other. He was full of wit. Mark was always the funniest guy in the room and knew how to make everyone laugh. Finally, Mark had a passion for smoking meats. He enjoyed spending hours in his backyard smoking up delicious meals for family and friends to enjoy. His brisket was the best! Mark was a caring, wonderful man who loved his family deeply. He will be sorely missed and forever in our hearts.
