James “Jimmy” Warren Waugh, 74, passed away on August 5, 2017 in Dallas, TX. He was born on November 28, 1942 to James and Pearl (Reever) Waugh in East St. Louis, IL. Jimmy and his family moved from Illinois to Seagoville when he was about eight years old and he grew up in this area, graduating from Seagoville High School. He worked as a welder for Garrett Iron for many years before eventually retiring from Baylor University Medical Center after 22 years of faithful service. Jimmy loved to hunt and fish, but his passion was golf, and played at the Cedar Creek Country Club as often as he could. He was a huge Dallas Cowboys fan and even more of a TCU fan. Jimmy was a member of Victory Baptist Church for over 50 years. Preceding him in death are his parents James and Pearl Waugh and brother-in-law’s Stephen Bell, Charlie Svoboda and Ray Heine. Those left to cherish his memory are his loving wife of 54 years, Mary Ann Waugh; children: Tammy Jackson and husband, Billy; Danny Waugh and wife, Christa; Cindy Hammond and husband, John; Steven Waugh and girlfriend Tammy Murrey; and DeAnn Fulton and husband, Mike; 13 grandchildren; 5 great-grandchildren; sisters: Terry Martin and husband, Randy; Margie Thomas and husband, Doug; and Debbie Witherspooon and husband, Phil; brothers-in law: Frank Svoboda and wife, Sharyn; Joe Svoboda and wife, Teresa and sister-in-law Janie Heine and a host of extended family members and friends that will miss him dearly.
