James Albert Sanchez

He was born April 20, 1973 in Dallas, Texas to Ennis Sanchez and Crestina Almodova Sanchez. James was raised in Seagoville, Texas and attended Seagoville High School. He married Monica Smith in 2012.

He was a Tree Trimmer for Exquisite Tree Service, where he worked for over 10 years. In his spare time, James enjoyed drinking beer, bar-b-queing with friends and family, fishing, and playing pool. James was known as the "Grill Master," and was always at the grill for any family function.

His family will always remember him as a big-hearted and caring person.

He is preceded in death by his father, Ennis Sanchez; his brother, Danny Cortez; and his sister, Connie Cortez.

He is survived by his wife, Monica Smith Sanchez of Denton, Texas; his daughter, Marcella Sanchez (Chris) of Memphis, Tennessee; his step-daughter, Amanda Vera of Dallas, Texas; his four grandchildren, Yuriah and Ezrie Smith of Memphis, Tennessee and Jordan and Zachary Mata of Dallas, Texas; his mother, Crestina Almodova Sanchez of Seagoville, Texas; his brother, Octavio Villegas Jr. (Christi) of Seagoville, Texas; his sister, Brenda Villegas (Roy) of Phoenix, Arizona; his sister, Belinda Sanchez of Crandall, Texas; his 6 nieces and 10 nephews; as well as a host of extended family and friends.
