Mr. James V. Finch

James Virgil Finch passed away at his home in Kaufman, Texas on November 28, 2015 surrounded by his family. James was born in Cuthand, Texas on October 5, 1932. He was preceded in death by his parents James Lee Finch and Mary Mae Gibson. James V. Finch has been a part of Finch Delivery since October 1, 1985. He was a legend in the trucking industry since 1952, working tirelessly dispatching trucks and managing drivers. James was known and respected by many because of his knowledge and work ethic, both personally and professionally. He has mentored many drivers to lifelong careers in trucking. James is survived by his loving and devoted wife of 49 years, Ruby Nell Finch; children James Lee Finch of Dallas, Willis Gene Finch of Texas, Edward Lawrence Finch & wife Pat of Kaufman, James Douglas Finch & wife Christine of Kaufman, Marcus Dewayne Finch & wife Brenda of Houston, Rodney Virgil Finch & wife Kelli of Kaufman, Tandice Natasha Finch of Kaufman; grandchildren Joshua, Katrina, Jessica, Willis, Tisha, Christie, Marissa, Chase, Caden, Coy, Makenlie, Brylie and numerous great grandchildren, nieces and nephews and other family loved ones. James will be greatly missed and forever loved by his family and friends. The family will receive friends at a visitation 6-8pm on Friday December 4, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home in Seagoville, Texas. Funeral Service will be at 2:00pm on Saturday, December 5, 2015 at Roselawn Funeral Home. Intermittent will follow at Roselawn Memorial Gardens where James will be laid to rest in The Garden of Roses. Brother Michael Waits will officiate.
